Prime Corp launches "MIRAIHADA," a new service concept to help consumers find the right products and services for their skin in partnership with Revieve
Helsinki & Tokyo, February 23nd – Prime Corp announced today the launch of a new service brand named MIRAIHADA ("Future Skin") which includes beauty consultation and services to find the best skincare routine and products in partnership with Revieve®, a personalized digital brand experience company working with global brands, retailers and digital services providers in the beauty, skin, health and wellness categories.
Primer Corp is a chain of 17 beauty salons, Beauty Advisor schools, and R&D units of cosmetics and skincare devices in Japan. Today, they launched a new service brand MIRAIHADA, featuring an AI Skincare Advisor experience powered by Revieve in its Nagoya Takashimaya location as an in-store solution.
The technology is built upon Revieve's proprietary computer vision technology and mobile skin diagnostics that analyze over 120 skin metrics from the user's face and several dozens of different expert algorithms specifically trained to analyze distinct skincare and beauty-related facial features from specific areas of the user's face.
"As a corporation at the forefront of beauty innovation, it was important to find a partner with new cutting edge technology readily available in Japan to help us improve our customers' beauty experience. This partnership with Revieve helps us position our company as a leader in providing the best skin care services in Japan," said Tetsu Nakaoka, Brand Division, Brand Manager, Prime Corp.
In the experience, visitors to the Nagoya Takashimaya beauty section, together with a beauty advisor, do a skin analysis with an iPad by taking a selfie, input of personal skin concerns and needs, and right after being provided with immediate feedback on their overall skin condition and product recommendations. During the experience, the user constantly communicates with the beauty advisor, who supports the skin analysis with their expert advice.
The results of the skin analysis and beauty advisor's input are then shared with the customer via the LINE app, which is Japan's #1 SNS platform. The beauty advisor will share care tips and continuously advise the customer via the LINE app connection based on the results.
"We are honoured to partner with Prime Corp to bring the best in beauty from Japan and technology from Finland to provide modern and meaningful beauty experiences to Japanese consumers," said Yusuke Mori, Japan Country Manager, Revieve.
