Revieve Names Dean DeBiase Chairman; Opens North American HQ
CHICAGO, IL (December 10, 2019) – Revieve, a digital beauty company that enables retailers and brands to personalize consumer search, evaluation, and purchasing experiences, has named Dean DeBiase Chairman.
A Silicon Valley veteran, DeBiase has served as an operating executive of public corporations and CEO of Fortune 500 subsidiaries across a wide range of industries including FedEx, AT&T, AOL, WPP, Western Union, Anixter, Arris, and LG Electronics. In chief executive and chairman roles, DeBiase has led organizations through expansion, turnaround, roll-up, spin-out, divestiture, M&A, IPO, and exit phases, including Autoweb (acquired by Autobytel), The ImagiNation Network (acquired by Verizon), TNS Media (acquired by WPP), Entertainment.com (acquired by Afin Technologies), Free Drive (acquired by Verizon), andCatchTV (acquired by Liberty Media).
DeBiase serves on public, private, family enterprise, CVC, and private equity boards including 3D Platform, PBC Linear and MannaPartners, and previously at ÄKTA (acquired by Salesforce), Donlen (acquired by Hertz), Excelligence Learning (acquired by SterlingInvestment Partners), Center post (acquired by West Corporation), and Akoo (acquired by RMG Networks). He is a Board Leadership Fellow at the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), a faculty member at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, a National Science Foundation (NSF) Advisor, a Fortune.com contributor, a founding board member at 1871, and a best-selling author, media guest, and public speaker.
Additionally, Revieve has announced the opening of its North American Headquarters, colocated in the an Internet of Things (IoT) co-creation space developed by Bosch and 1871.
The company evaluated multiple locations, including New York City and Silicon Valley, for its North American Headquarters and ultimately chose Chicago because of its reputation as a global tech-innovation hub with supportive community organizations, including WorldBusiness Chicago (worldbusinesschicago.com) and P33 (P33chicago.com).
